There are some magnificent buildings and a tourist should not miss them. We talk about the Bucharest Municipal Museum (the 'u'u Palace), a place where art is the king. Who wants to read more about it can visit their internet page: http://www.muzeulbucurestiului.ro/main.html. Other buildings are the National Savings Bank, the National Museum of History (formerly the Royal Palace), the Romanian Athenaeum, the Village Museum, the George Enescu Museum (formerly the Cantacuzino Palace), the Military Club, the Central University Library (formerly the Palace of the Carol I University Foundation), the Palace of the Parliament and many others. Bucharest has several lakes: Lake Her'str'u, Lake Tei, Lake Floreasca, Lake Colentina and a small artificial lake called Lake Ci'migiu, frequented by poets and writers, and many beautiful parks and gardens as Her'str'u Park and the Botanical Garden.

There are many ways to reach Bucharest. The city has two international airports, Henri Coand' International Airport e Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, better known as B'neasa Airport. There are also two big railway stations: Gara de Nord and Gara Basarab. The growing economy allowed the construction of many new and modern buildings such as the Bucharest (Floreasca) Sky Tower and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bucharest and many malls and shopping centers.

The tourist that decides to visit Bucharest will see so many beautiful places and will meet nice people.
